Wild Game

For the hunter, the greatest danger in a battue is not to fall asleep while waiting. From the early morning you sit on a high seat and depend on the whims of nature to meet you in a well-intentioned manner. The drifters do the rest. During a hunt through the undergrowth somewhere in Brandenburg it happened that I unintentionally caught a hunter smoking secretly (to my regret this caused the trouble of his colleagues. Smoking strictly forbidden!).

If the game comes into the field of fire, everything happens very quickly. If hit, it sinks to the ground, the shot fade away, silence returns to the forest.  The down hunt remains.
